Idea Cellular Offering Rs 1,500 Cashback On the Newly Launched iVoomi i1 and i1S Smartphones

Telecom operators are aggressively expanding their partnerships with mobile manufacturers for bundled data offers. Idea Cellular today announced its partnership with Chinese smartphone brand iVoomi and offering a cashback amount of Rs 1,500 for customers who're purchasing the newly launched iVoomi i1 and i1S smartphones. Both the devices are exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs 5,999 and Rs 7,499.

After the cashback of Rs 1,500, the effective prices of smartphones will come down to Rs 4,499 and Rs 5,999, and of course, this offer is only for Idea Cellular customers. Idea will be giving the cashback amount after two years, but here's how it goes.

Under this offer, Idea customers will get a total cashback of Rs 1,500 – Rs 300 in the first 12 months and Rs 1,200 in the next 12 months – on the purchase of new iVoomi smartphone range. As stated, both the devices are already up for sale on Flipkart.

To avail the cashback, Idea customers need to do a minimum recharge of Rs 199 per month for the first 12 months which will give unlimited voice calls on all networks, 28GB data (1GB/Day), 100 SMS/Day. This pack also gives the customers unlimited roaming calls too for 28 days.

Idea customers have the flexibility to recharge any plan, but the cumulative recharge value should be Rs 2,500 to get the cashback of Rs 300 in the first 12 months. Over the next 13 to 24 months, customer needs to recharge with a minimum of Rs 199 per month with a cumulative recharge value of Rs 2,500 for 12 months, to get the remaining cashback of Rs 1,200.

iVoomi launched both the i1 and i1S smartphones yesterday, and they both are excellent value for money products. The smartphones offer a 5.45-inch HD 18:9 display and are powered by the MediaTek MTK6737v chipset. The iVoomi i1 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while the i1S gives 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

Another highlight of both the devices is the dual camera setup at the back. A 13MP primary camera is present at the back of the phone along with a 2MP depth sensor for adding bokeh effect to the images. They run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and are fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
