Idea Cellular was fast in judging the people’s excitement regarding the new flagship phone from OnePlus, as a result the telco has stricken a deal with the Chinese manufacturer. Idea customers who buy the OnePlus 6 will enjoy a cashback of Rs 2,000 in the form of Rs 100 discount every month for 20 billing cycles and 10GB of additional data for 20 months with the Rs 499 Nirvana postpaid plan. Eventually the Rs 499 plan for the OnePlus 6 users will cost them Rs 399 (taxes additional). The plan will also ship Device security which will be valid for four months alongside the subscription to Idea’s Digital Content services. Not only for postpaid customers, but Idea has also launched an offer for the prepaid users who plan on buying the OnePlus 6. Under the offer, Idea prepaid customers will get 370GB additional data which is 1.1GB data per day with the Rs 199 on 12 continuous recharge cycles.
Not only this, but Idea users will also get access to many services like 3000 SMS and 50GB of data for 20 billing cycles. The Rs 199 prepaid plan will also offer similar benefits. However, it should be noted that users will only get the additional data benefit if they recharge the plan for 12 months straight.
Overall, the Rs 499 Nirvana postpaid plan becomes Rs 399 and offers benefits of unlimited voice calls, 3000 SMS, 50GB of data for 20 billing cycles. It also gives access to a host of Idea Digital services and Device Security for four months. The Rs 199 prepaid plan, for the OnePlus 6 users will give 2.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days. However, do make a note that the additional data benefit will be applicable only if the users recharge the plan for 12 months continuously.
