Idea Cellular 4G Services Now Live in Kolkata, Offers 10GB Data to All Users

Idea Cellular has finally launched its 4G services in Kolkata circle and it’s now left with only Delhi circle to become a pan-India 4G operator after Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. As part of the launch offer, Idea Cellular is offering free 10GB data to every user in Kolkata which will be valid for seven days. Idea introduced the 10GB data offer on the occasion of auspicious Pujo season. Idea Cellular customers in the region can claim the free data until October 20, 2018. And do make a note the offer is available for users only with a 4G smartphone. That said, Idea Cellular managed to launch 4G services in the circle in ICR with Vodafone.

How to Claim the Free 10GB Data in Kolkata?

Having said that, Idea Cellular will not credit the free data directly to every user’s account. The one-time 4G launch data offer, valid till October 20, 2018, can be availed by simply dialling *800*45# from any Idea number on a 4G smartphone. The free data will be credited to a user’s account within minutes after dialling the above-mentioned USSD.

Idea Cellular Launches 4G in Kolkata in ICR With Vodafone

As you might be aware of by now, UK-based Vodafone and Idea Cellular together formed Vodafone Idea Limited. And right after the completion of the merger, customers of Idea Cellular will now be able to use 4G on ICR on Vodafone. Earlier, Idea Cellular offered 2G and 3G circles in Kolkata.

Idea users in Kolkata will now experience high-speed internet on 4G and enjoy seamless experience on digital Idea apps, during the Pujo celebration, with devotional songs and videos on Idea Music, Idea Movies & TV. Gaming enthusiasts can play a host of exciting games on Idea Games app, said the company in a press statement.
