Huawei launched the P30 and P30 Pro smartphones at an event in Paris earlier this week. The Huawei P30 has been launched at a price tag of EUR 799 ( which roughly comes around Rs 62,200) while the Huawei P30 Pro has been launched for EUR 999 (comes roughly around Rs 77,800). Both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, waterdrop notch on the front, 40MP main rear camera and many other things. While there are some similarities between the two Huawei phones, there are some differences too. For instance, the Huawei P30 Pro comes packed with a time-of-flight (ToF) camera while that isn't present on the P30. Apart from this, there are some other differences too. Let's take a look at everything that is different between the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: Price and Colours
Let's start with the price. The Huawei P30 has been launched for EUR 799 -- Rs 62,200 -- for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. In comparison the P30 Pro comes in three variants -- 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model for EUR 999 roughly translates around Rs 77,800, 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage model comes for Rs 85,600 and lastly the 8GB RAM/ 512GB storage model comes for EUR 1,249 (roughly Rs 97,300). In terms of colour variants, both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro come in four colours -- Amber Sunrise, Aurora, Breathing Crystal, and Pearl White.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: Display
The Huawei P30 Pro comes packed with a 6.47-inch Full HD+ OLED display with screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and aspect ratio of19.5:9. In comparison the Huawei P30 comes with 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2340 pixels screen resolution. Both the phones come with Acoustic Display Technology. This means the devices use an on-screen speaker and turn the screen into a speaker.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: Cameras
The Huawei P30 Pro comes with four cameras on the back panel, while the P30 includes three cameras. The Huawei P30 Pro comes with a primary 40MP sensor paired with 1/1.7-inch Huawei SuperSpectrum Sensor, second is a 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens, third is an 8MP telephoto camera and fourth is a Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera -- which isn't present on Huawei P30. The P30 Pro camera enables 5x optical, 10x hybrid, and 50x digital zoom. In comparison, the P30 comes with a 40MP primary ultra wide-angle sensor, second is a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 lens, and third is an 8MP sensor with a telephoto lens. On the front, both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro come with a 32MP front camera with an f/2.0 lens.
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: Battery and Processor
The Huawei P30 is backed by a 3650mAh battery, in comparison, the P30 Pro comes packed with a 4200mAh battery. The Huawei P30 Pro comes with wireless charging support and also reverse wireless charging technology. Sadly, the Huawei P30 doesn't have wireless charging support nor reverse wireless charging technology. Both the phones are powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC with Mali-G76 GPU.
