Huawei Launches Nova 3 Smartphone With Dual Front Camera Setup Along With Huawei TalkBand 5

Huawei has launched its new phone by advancing the Nova series of smartphones. The Nova 3 which debuted in China today comes powered with the HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC. Adding on top of this processor is the Huawei GPU Turbo which supports the graphics on the phone. The device boots Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin from Huawei. The highlighting feature of the phone is the ability to detect over 500 scenes using Artificial Intelligence (AI). In addition to this new phone, Huawei has also introduced the all-new Huawei TalkBand B5 fitness tracker. Huawei had last launched the B3 fitness tracker in 2016, and the TalkBand B5 is its successor. This Bluetooth tracker lets users attend phone calls and listen to music while maintaining an active lifestyle. There is also a 24-hour heart rate monitor with Huawei’s TruRelax Technology.

Huawei Nova 3 Specifications and Features
The Huawei Nova 3 sports a 6.3-inch (1080×2340 pixels) full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio along with 85% NTSC colour gamut. The processor, as we mentioned is an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC. Paired with this chipset is the Mali-G72 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The phone also sports a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, and the secondary camera is the 24MP shooter with a f/1.8 aperture. Similar to the rear camera setup, the cameras on the front also come in dual combination with the primary sensor being a 24MP shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. The fingerprint sensor also makes its way to the rear side with the phone also supporting Face Unlock. There is a feature resembling Apple’s Animoji which Huawei has dubbed as 3D Qmoji. The front cameras support this feature while the rear cameras support the AI scene recognition.
