Huawei has been present as a slightly premium maker of budget smartphones in India and has always priced its device over the Chinese and Indian counterparts. Huawei has today announced the launch of 3 smartphones in India which are expected to give the company a lot more sales in the higher end segments in the budget arena. Let us take a look at the specifications of the 3 smartphones:
Huawei Honor 3C (Rs 14,999)
The Huawei Honor 3C is a budget quad core smartphone and it will be up against a slew of budget quad core devices in the Rs 10,000-15,000 segment. Here are the specifications:
- 5-inch LTPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels
- 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor
- Mali 400 GPU
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 2.0 on top of it which is Huawei’s proprietary interface
- 2GB RAM
- 8GB internal storage, expandable by another 32GB with a microSD card
- 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a Sony BSI sensor so this 8MP snapper is going to be way better than that of the other Chinese smartphones. It gets coupled with 5MP front camera that has a 22mm wide angle lens and a 1.4um pixel sensor which again means that the front camera is going to be better than that of the competition.
- Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity
- 2300 mAh battery
- Think bezels and a screen to body ratio of 70 percent
