HTC Introduces HD Mini 3G Smartphone in India at Rs.23490

HTC Corporation, a global designer of smart phones, today launched the much awaited HTC HD mini an 3G enabled HTC Sense-based Windows Mobile Phone focused on delivering the popular experience of the HTC HD2 in a more compact design at Rs.23490 for Indian market.

The HTC HD mini sports a high degree of usability along with its own unique and beautiful design. It comes with a Capacitive touch screen, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, 3.2 HVGA display, 5MP auto focus camera, 3.5mm audio jack.

The smarphone equipped with a 1200mAh battery which offers up to 7.25 hours of talk time, music playback for up to 12 hours and video play back for up to 8 hours.And the strong design ethos continues under the battery cover where a bright yellow internal structure, offers an unexpected surprise when the phone is opened.

HTC HD mini includes capacitive touch for viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft® Office files, PDF documents and pictures with just a pinch of your fingers. Leveraging its 3G broadband connectivity, the HTC HD mini also offers personal Wi-Fi anywhere for your computer or other devices. The HD mini can also be further enhanced to reflect your needs and style by downloading a variety of applications from the Windows® Marketplace for Mobile.

there is no camera lense cover, weather it is hd recording lense.

One good reason to opt for HTC HD mini / even HTC HD2 is the feature to use them as WiFi / in US popularly known as MiFi routers. Similarly Asus P835 also has a feature of being used as WiFi router.

All these are Windows Mobile phones. I wonder why the feature is not available on other OS platforms
