HTC has finally learnt the art of pricing its smartphones just right for the Indian market and has launched the HTC Desire 516 in India for Rs 14,200. The smartphone comes as a rival to the Moto G which has been making merry since the launch in the country. It packs in a decent bit of specifications from a big brand and is surely worth a look. Let us take a look at its specifications:

HTC Desire 516
HTC Desire 516
  • 5 inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 Processor
  • Adreno 302 GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.1 UI on top of it with Blinkfeed
  • 4GB internal storage which is expandable by 64GB with the help of microSD card slot
  • 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a  2MP front camera
  • 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM connectivity
  • 1950 mAh battery
  • Black and white colours
  • Rs 14,200

The smartphone would have done better if it came with Android 4.4 KitKat and a Snapdragon 400 instead of a Snapdragon 200 unit. It scores over the Moto G in the screen size and memory department. It is available for around Rs 13,300 on online stores already so you might want to take a look at this deal as well.
