Android 5.0 Lollipop update rolling out to HTC Desire EYE and HTC One E8

Staying true to its promise, HTC has today start rolling out Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update to its non-flagship smartphones as well. According to tweets from a famous HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR, HTC has started rolling out Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update to three smartphones – the HTC One E8, the HTC Desire Eye, and the HTC Butterfly S.

The Desire EYE and the Butterfly S have started receiving the Lollipop updates in Taiwan, while the One E8 has started receiving it in Hong Kong. Users in other regions, including India, will start receiving updates shortly. The HTC Desire 816 will start receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon.

HTC recently update two of its flagship smartphones - the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M7 – to Android 5.0 Lollipop update recently in India.
