News is that the company has launched three new smartphones in its ‘Desire’ series in the market. One of them is HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM smartphone. This smartphone has been launched at a price of Rs. 33,050. Let us have a look at some of the key features and specifications of this device:

Built: The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM smartphone is about 10.3 mm thick and it weighs approximately 149 grams.

Display: This device carries a capacitive touch display of 5 inches with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Processor: This smartphone has been loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core processor clocked at 1.2 Giga Hertz.

Operating System: The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM works on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform.

Memory: This smartphone offers a RAM of 1 GB. It features internal memory of 8 GB and expandable storage of up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

Camera: This device has been equipped with a rear camera of 8 mega pixels with 1080p video recording, BSI sensor and LED flash features. It also offers a front facing shooter of 2.1 mega pixels with BSI sensor.

Connectivity Features: The connectivity features included in the HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM device are Bluetooth 4.0 with apt X, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, DLNA and 3G.

Other Features: This smartphone comes with HTC BlinkFeed, HTC BoomSound, a 3.5 mm audio jack and other interesting features.

Battery: This device functions on a removable battery of 2100 mAh.

Our Take: HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM smartphone is a good device but is far from being a value for money device. The device could have somewhat been a good seller if launched around Rs 15,000 but HTC thinks otherwise. The device costs more than double for what its worth and you shouldn't really go in for it.
