HTC Android L Update

Last week, we witnessed the leaked screenshots of HTC One M8, which projected the Android 5.0 update with a layer of Sense 7 UI over it. HTC also declared last month that One (M8) and One (M7) will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update “within 90 days of receiving final software”

However, for those HTC users who got ecstatic about the Sense 7 UI and Android L, today’s leak brings in a bad news. According to the serial leaker, @upleaks, the Android L update for the HTC One M8 will be coming with the HTC Sense 6, not HTC Sense 7.  Reportedly, the main cause behind the delay is because HTC has not started to port Sense 7 to the HTC One M8 presently. It is tentative whether the company will launch the Android 5.0 update with Sense 6 UI or Sense 7 UI.

The HTC One (M7) and (M8) stand foremost in the line, for the Android L update. Google Play  Edition versions of the smartphones will also receive an update somewhere between November to December, as predicted, and Sense based versions will receive the update in January-February, according to the fresh reports.
