Honor is Huawei’s child brand, and since last year, it has taken the Indian market by storm. With the View 10, Honor is looking to establish its place in the affordable flagship segment too. The Honor View 10 has specifications on par with the OnePlus 5T, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, and Nokia 8, but edges the three when it comes to the AI capabilities.

Honor View 10 Specifications and Features

Firstly, Honor launched only one variant of the Honor View 10 in the Indian market, and it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Like several other smartphones released in 2017, the View 10 also sports an 18:9 display on the front. Honor has added a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display to the front of the phone. And surprisingly, the device also comes with a front-placed fingerprint scanner located below the screen.

This flagship smartphone from Honor is powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 970 chipset, which has a dedicated Neural-Network Processing Unit (NPU) that takes care of AI applications. It is the first smartphone in India to launch with Kirin 970 chipset.

The device measures 6.97mm in thickness and weigh 172grams. It boots EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM VoLTE support. This package is backed by a 3750mAh battery along with support for fast charging. The phone ships with a 9V/2A charger in the retail box.

Cameras in the View 10 include a 16MP primary RGB sensor at the back, which is again coupled with a 20MP secondary monochrome sensor. The monochrome sensor also captures depth information to produce bokeh effect with the dual lens feature available in the smartphone. Up front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera, and the device also offers a Face Unlock mode as an unlocking method.

Sensors in the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, Digital Compass, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Status indicator. The device will be available in two colour options- Navy Blue and Midnight Black.
