Honor Note 10 is the latest flagship smartphone aimed at gamers from the Chinese company. Huawei's sub-brand Honor has announced the Honor Note 10 in China earlier today. The phone comes with a massive 6.95-inch display on the front. To accompany the large display, Honor has added a 5000mAh battery under the hood, which along with the Kirin 970 SoC will help the device run for a longer period. The phone also comes with other hardware features such as dual rear cameras, a decent selfie shooter. As far as software is concerned, the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 with the company's GPU Turbo technology on board.
Honor Note 10 Specifications and Features
Delving into the specifications of the smartphone, the Honor Note 10 boasts a 6.95-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The unusual aspect ratio means the device sports a notch on top. The phone comes powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset, which we earlier saw on smartphones such as the Honor 10, Honor View 10, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. As mentioned, the phone also comes with the company's GPU Turbo technology which is said to boost the GPU performance by 60% and at the same time, it keeps the battery life in check.
Alongside the GPU Turbo technology, Honor also introduced a new technology called CPU Turbo with the Note 10, which cleans up the background apps and increases the clock speed of CPU while gaming. Honor has launched the device in various memory & storage options- 4GB/6GB/8GB and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
Much like other Honor devices, the phone comes with dual cameras on the rear side. A primary 16MP shooter is paired with a 24MP secondary Monochrome sensor. Honor has added a 13MP shooter on the front side.
The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side, and the device is backed by a beefy 5000mAh battery. The Honor Note 10 also ships with Huawei's Super Charge fast charging technology.
Honor Note 10 Pricing and Availability
The Honor Note 10 will be available in two colour options- Midnight Black and Phantom Blue. As mentioned above, the phone can be picked up in various storage variants- 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The base variant of the phone is priced at 2799 Yuan (approx. Rs 29,100), while the 6GB variant retails for 3199 Yuan (approx. Rs 33,400). Lastly, the 8GB variant will be available for purchase at 3599 Yuan (approx. Rs 37,500).
Honor is currently taking pre-orders for the device in China, and the sales will kickstart on August 3. It's unknown whether the Honor Note 10 will be launched in China or not.
