Hike Messenger, the popular messenger app, is planning to bring out its web version soon. They're also planning to bring new material design. Though not an official announcement, this news was made public by none other than Hike’s CEO Kavin Mittal on his Twitter account.
However, the website is at its beta version now and some internal sources said that the last minute testing is still going on. The sources also hinted that the web version of Hike Messenger could be launched in the next few weeks.
Hike Messenger, founded by Kavin Mittal (son of Bharti Enterprises Head Sunil Bharti Mittal), was launched in end of 2012. The messenger app now has almost 60 million users.
Hike is quite popular in India for its regional stickers. It has calling features also.
