HCL Launches ME U1 Android 4.0 ICS Tablet For Rs.7999

Leading Laptop and PC maker HCL Technologies today launched Android 4.0 ICS based HCL ME UI low cost Tablet for Rs.7999.

The HCL ME U1 tablet sports a 1GHz processor, with a 7-inch capacitive display which has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a front facing 0.3 megapixel camera, a full USB port with 3G dongle support, a mini USB port and a micro SD card slot.




The Tab has a 3600 mAh battery,Wi-Fi Support 802.11 b/g Bluetooth 2.0, 3.5mm stereo jack & Internal MIC Built in high quality speaker and comes with a preloaded ME app store which has approx 10,000 applications.

HCL is also bundling free multimedia and lifestyle goodies worth Rs 3,000 from Hungama.com, cleartrip.com and some others.

Apart from the above tab, HCL also introduces other two tablets - My Edu Tab K12 and My Edu Tab HE with same specifications comes with preloaded educational contents like NCERT content, quizzes, solved examples, problem solver, educational applications and other curated interactive content for students comes at price of Rs.11499 and Rs.9999 respectively.
