In the Google I/O conference, the search giant finally took the veil off its latest Pixel phone line-up. The Google Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL have been the victim of a lot of leaks in the past few days, and following that, we were able to see the phones in full glory along with the official price tag. These new phones by Pixel are trimmed down versions of the original Pixel 3 phones, and thus they come with lighter price tags and smaller screens. Some other areas have also been cut down to make the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. Some of the things to note about the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL include a polycarbonate body instead of a glass front and rear panel. Under the hood also, the phones pack a mid-range chipset, and they also don’t sport any kind of resistance against water. Another interesting thing is that the phones do not come with a dual camera and only sport a single rear sensor.
As for the pricing of Pixel devices in India, the Pixel 3a has received a price tag of Rs 39,999, whereas the Pixel 3a XL has received a tag of Rs 44,999. Before the launch of the phone, we had also seen a product page related to these Pixel phones on Flipkart, and now the pre-bookings for these phones have also gone live on the e-commerce website. The phones are set to go live for sale on May 15, but the pre-registration page on Flipkart is already up since 10:00 AM today. The buyers of Pixel devices will be able to get YouTube Premium Music 3-month subscription for free. Additionally, there will be other exchange, and EMI offers too on the phone.

On the Pixel 3a, we get to see a 5.6-inch FHD+ display with 18:5.9 aspect ratio, whereas on the Pixel 3a XL we get to see a larger 6-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Both smartphones come with Dragon Trail protection. Under the hood, both the devices sport the Snapdragon 670 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. These phones also come with the Titan M security chip but miss out on Visual Core. On the camera and imaging front, the phones come with a 12MP rear sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The sensor is a Sony IMX363 one which is the same as we get to see on the Pixel 3. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. We also get to see a 3000mAh battery on the Pixel 3 and a much juicier 3700mAh battery on the Pixel 3a XL. The phones also lend support for 18W fast charging.
