It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The S6s bears 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. On the rear, the S6s boasts a fingerprint sensor, which looks similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

The Gionee S6s features a 13-megapixel IMX258 rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera onboard with ‘selfie flash’ (something that Gionee has come up with and is also getting it trademark for future references), f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. A 3,300mAh battery backs the device. The camera app is loaded with many features that make it a camera-focused device.
