Chinese smartphone brand, Gionee today announced the launch of its selfie-centric smartphone, the Gionee S10 Lite in the Indian market. The Gionee S10 Lite is the first ‘S’ series smartphone to launch in India this year, and it’s aimed at selfie enthusiasts. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,999 and will be available in all the retail stores in India from December 23, 2017.

Gionee S10 Lite Specifications and Features
On one side, Gionee is competing with brands such as Samsung and Xiaomi with the Marathon range of devices, and on another side, it’s going against the likes of Oppo and Vivo. Starting off with the USP of the Gionee S10 Lite, it has a 16MP camera on the front with support for an LED flash.
The Gionee S10 Lite flaunts a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset, which is also known as Snapdragon MSM8920 Mobile Platform. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.
At the back of the phone, Gionee has added a 13MP camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. The phone has connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a micro USB port. The S10 Lite measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 155grams.

Another feature which Gionee is touting is the 3100mAh non-removable battery. The device boots Android 7.1 Nougat based Amigo UI 4.0.
