Gionee is a China based mobile handset manufacturing giant. It has started to create and expand its market in India as well. This year, the company released some of its premium smartphones in the market that have been quite well received and appreciated in the market. Now we have heard that it is all set to launch its newest device Gionee P3 in India at a price of Rs. 7,499. Let us have a quick look at some of the chief features and specifications of this smartphone:

Display: This 11.1 mm thick smartphone comes with a capacitive touch display of 800 x 480 pixels.

Processor: Gionee P3 device has been equipped with a quad core processor of 1.3 Giga Hertz.

Operating System: This device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform.

Camera: The Gionee P3 smartphone has a rear camera of 5 mega pixels with HD video recording, LED flash and auto focus features. It also sports a front facing shooter of 0.3 mega pixels.

Memory: This smartphone offers a RAM of 512 MB and inbuilt storage capacity of 4 GB. Gionee P3 also provides expandable storage space of up to 32 GB by using a micro SD card.

Connectivity Features: The connectivity features included in this device are GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and 3G.

Other Features: Gionee P3 is a dual SIM smartphone that provides dual standby option. It also features a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. This smartphone is available in white and black color variants.

Battery: This device works on a battery of 1700 mAh.

Our Take: The Gionee P3 smartphone is quite a good device with a range of interesting, useful features. It is quite a functional handset and stands pretty good chances in the market. However, its mediocre battery may let down a few consumers. Nonetheless, Gionee P3 appears to be a decent choice.
