Garmin, a global brand known for making tough, durable, and multisport fitness wearables has launched a new series of smartwatches - Fenix 8. These new smartwatches will be available in two variants - one will be with an AMOLED display and one will be a solar-charging model. The Fenix 8 series is multi-sport in nature and it will help runners, triathletes, swimmers, cyclists, and more categories of athletes. Along with this, Garmin has also launched a new personalised application that's targeted for athletes and coaches.

The highlight is that these smartwatches start at Rs 86,990. The AMOLED model with a 51mm display offers a battery life of up to 29 days in smartwatch mode. With the solar model, the battery life extends up to 48 days. You can get this new series of watches in three different sizes - 43mm, 47mm, and 51mm.
Since it is geared toward fitness enthusiasts, users can measure stuff such as VO2 Max, training status, and other insights into their performance. There are also advanced strength training features along with support for 40-meter diving. The smartwatches also come with a built-in speaker and a microphone. It supports voice command and voice note features too.

The advanced mapping and navigation features are also included for people planning long-endurance activities.
