EdgeConneX and TA Realty to Develop 324 MW Hyperscale Data Center Campus in Atlanta
TA Realty and EdgeConneX have unveiled plans to jointly develop a 324 MW hyperscale data center campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, TA Realty, through its TA Digital Group, will manage site acquisition, power procurement, and necessary approvals, while EdgeConneX will leverage its expertise in data center design, construction, and operation.

Strategic Location and Timeline

The project, located in a key Atlanta sub-market, will begin construction later this year. The first phase is expected to be operational by 2026, meeting the growing demand for low latency and high-performance computing driven by advancements in AI and cloud services.

Positioned in a key Atlanta sub-market, this location serves as a crucial element in the company's broader plan to develop large-scale data center complexes in major metropolitan areas, the company said. TA Realty's power-first approach, combined with EdgeConneX's customised data center solutions, aims to deliver the project on time and within budget.

"This collaborative effort brings together the strengths of each company to provide a comprehensive and efficient data center development process from inception to completion, optimised for hyperscale customer requirements," the joint statement said on Tuesday.
