Dareesoft, an AI-based real-time road hazard data provider, has completed a proof of concept (PoC) for its AI-driven RiaaS (Road Hazard Information as a Service) in Dubai, UAE. The demonstration, according to the company, showcased the system's ability to detect over 2,000 road hazards in real-time. Building on this achievement, Dareesoft announced on December 25 that it plans to expand its sales network across the Middle East, starting with the UAE and extending to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.

AI-Based RiaaS
RiaaS, an all-in-one road safety solution, offers real-time hazard data to both drivers and road managers through an AI-powered road analysis device installed in vehicles. The solution, which can detect 12 types of road hazards such as potholes, cracks, and fallen objects while vehicles are in motion, can be applied in various sectors, including road maintenance, smart city projects, vehicle control, mapping, navigation, and insurance sectors, according to the company.
Elizabeth Row, CEO of Dareesoft, said, "The RiaaS has already been adopted by many local governments in Korea, including Seoul metropolitan government, to reduce traffic accidents and enhance pedestrian safety. As roads around the world are aging rapidly, there is an urgent need for enhanced safety measures for both drivers and pedestrians. We aim to leverage the latest success as a launchpad to become a leading provider of AI-powered road risk data solutions in the Middle Eastern market."
