The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has extended the deadline for the implementation of the new tariff mandate to March 31. However, there has been no reduction in the efforts being put in by the DTH providers to migrate the subscribers to the new channel packs. One of the biggest DTH providers in India, D2h has also been on this task and has managed to migrate a large chunk of its total base to the new packs. To make the migration process more manageable, these providers are also taking the help of recommended channel packs which allow the subscribers to select a bunch of channels in a single click easily. D2h has come forward with its own set of combo plans known as ‘d2h Recommended Combo(s)’. The price of these combo packs start at Rs 190, and these channels are available in regional languages as well.
