Crosstown Fiber Expands Network with New Fiber Routes in Chicago Metro Area
Fiber optic infrastructure developer Crosstown Fiber today announced the completion of new fiber routes connecting key data centers across the Chicago metro area. This expansion offers network service providers immediate access to high-speed internet and advanced network services, paving the way for improved connectivity and performance. This significant milestone is part of Crosstown Fiber's ongoing commitment to fortifying digital infrastructure with high-capacity fiber routes, the company said on Tuesday.

Enhanced Network Reliability and Uptime

The newly launched routes feature a redundant ring structure for maximum reliability and uptime, with secure, underground pathways designed to support high-demand applications like AI and ML. Crosstown Fiber said the infrastructure is tailored for diverse clients, including hyperscale data centers, enterprises, government entities, and educational institutions, enhancing efficiency and reducing latency.
