CES may not be famous for smartphones, but every year Japanese brand Sony launches new smartphones at the show floor in Las Vegas. And this year, it’s no different as the company today announced three new Xperia smartphones- the Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and the budget Xperia L2. Surprisingly, the XA2 devices are the first Sony devices to ship with a fingerprint scanner in the United States. Sony just announced three devices without revealing the pricing and availability details. All the three phones will launch in the Indian market later this month or after MWC 2018 event in February.

Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra specifications
Firstly, we have two mid-range smartphones from Sony. The Sony Xperia XA2 flaunts a 5.2-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 424 PPI. The device measures 9.7mm in thickness and weighs 171grams. Sony has added a 23MP rear camera with 4K video recording at 120fps support. Up front, the XA2 has an 8MP selfie shooter with 120-degree wide-angle lens. The XA2 is powered by the Snapdragon 630 SoC and comes in a single 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage model. It has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and is backed by a 3300mAh battery.

Talking about the bigger variant, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, it has a larger 6-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 367 PPI. This variant measures 9.5mm in thickness and weighs 210grams. It also sports a 23MP rear camera with 4K video recording support. However, the major difference between the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra is the dual selfie camera setup.
