Bharat sanchar nigam Ltd. is the national backbone when it comes to wired ADSL broadband. BSNL has the widest broadband reach in both rural and urban areas. The PSU has been taking steps to revive its shrinking user base by giving special incentives to landline and wired broadband services as subscribers continue to steadily migrate to wireless services.

In an attempt to salvage its wired ADSL connections, the company has slashed the price of ADSL WiFi modems by Rs.300 from Rs.1800 to Rs.1500. This is a limited period offer and will only be available for 90 days beginning 1st August 2015. The offer discounted price is applicable in all 20 circles where BSNL has commercial services.
