BSNL to Increase Landline/CDMA (Fixed) Rentals, Reduce Freebies for Rural ‘General’ Customers

Customers in rural areas using General plan of BSNL Landline/CDMA fixed wireless phones (WLL) will have to pay more starting 01 May 2014. The rent is set to increase by a marginal amount of Rs. 10 per month and free calls (off-net) will be reduced by 10 units/month. The call charges and free on-net call units remain same.

As we noted earlier (BSNL Hikes Tariffs of Select Broadband Unlimited Plans), these tariff revisions are expected to continue.
