Due to to GPRS traffic surge in Maharashtra and Goa circle BSNL will be soon depending and routing its traffic to its Chennai Facility for its subscribers in Goa and Maharashtra.

BSNL has also planned to increase the fibre optical connectivity between the 74 BTS to improve the connectivity for the GPRS and 3G connections across Maharashtra. The planned implementation will help end users to have faster download experience along with stable page loads. Right now Most of the customers across the state are facing slow page loads and which has also badly impacted BSNL which is making end customers to move to private operators.

Timely implementation of routing to BSNL chennai facility is going to help BSNL big time in terms of revenue and in subscribers growth. As per inside sources BSNL is also working on connecting its BTS with optical fibre cable in those circles where data traffic conjunction is high but due to tender process some delay is happening, once this is implemented in those circles customers who face major loading issue will see huge improvement in browsing experience.
