BSNL has been making new introductions in its prepaid portfolio. The state-led telecom operator has been resorting to the introduction of new prepaid vouchers and special tariff vouchers (STVs) as a means to lure more and more subscribers. In the past few months, the telco has launched many new plans and also made some lengthy revisions to the existing prepaid plans and STVs. Some of these new offerings are even coming with exciting content offerings, which was something that BSNL did not used to ship previously. Now in a move on those lines, BSNL had debuted a VASANTHAM GOLD - PV 96 recharge plan which will be available for subscription for 90 days.

BSNL Rs 96 Prepaid Plan Details

Currently, the VASANTHAM GOLD - PV 96 recharge plan has been launched in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle only and with effect on July 5, 2019, it will be available for the subscribers for a promotional period of 90 days. The Rs 96 prepaid plan by BSNL comes with a validity of 180 days, and in this period it offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network including roaming except to Mumbai and Delhi circles. Along with that, the subscribers will get 100 SMS per day to their account. The validity of these freebies would be 21 days. BSNL has also noted that the base tariff applicable after the freebies for calls would be as per the “per minute plan”. BSNL customers wishing to subscribe to this plan via a self-care keyword would be able to do so by sending SMS PLAN VOICE96 to 123.

BSNL Extends Bumper Offer Providing 2.2GB Additional Data to Customers

Apart from this new introduction of a prepaid plan, BSNL has made another consumer-centric move this month, which is very liked by the subscribers of the telco. The state-led telecom operator has revised its popular bumper offer which provides extra 2.2GB data to the subscribers every month. This offer which was slated to end at the end of June, has been revised in the first week of July to last till October 2019. Under this plan, the subscribers will get additional 2.2GB data credited to their accounts on top of their existing data limit. BSNL has also listed out the STVs and prepaid vouchers which will be eligible under this offer.

For example, if generally on recharging with an STV or a prepaid plan the BSNL subscriber gets access to 1GB data per day, then combined with this offer, the customer will be able to 3.2GB of data per day. Similarly, subscribers enjoying 2GB of data per day will get access to 4.2GB of data per day courtesy of this offer. BSNL has listed the few of its plans which will be eligible for this offer, and these include the Rs 186, Rs 429 plan and also the Rs 485 and Rs 666 plan providing 1.5GB data per day.
