BSNL Now Tries to Match Jio With its Rs 75 Prepaid Plan Offering Data, Calling Benefits for 15 Days

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has stood strong even with all the ongoing competition. To set itself apart from the private telecom operators and to better tackle competition, BSNL has launched a new Rs 75 prepaid plan. Day after day, we are getting to see an increased emphasis on plans priced under the Rs 100 tag, and BSNL is among the few who have joined the rally. This new Rs 75 prepaid plan by BSNL offers 10GB data, unlimited calling benefits and 500 SMSes for 15 days straight. Further, this plan also comes with validity extension enabled, meaning that subscribers will be able to extend their validity by 90 or 180 days by paying up an additional amount.

Rs 75 Prepaid Plan by BSNL Details

The offerings in this plan include unlimited calling except to subscribers in Mumbai or Delhi combined with 10GB of data for the entire validity period of 15 days. In addition to this, subscribers will also be eligible to get 500 SMSes in this time period. Furthermore, do make a note that the plan has only been introduced in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle. The tariff plan can be found as ‘BSNL Jeevitha Prepaid Plan,’ in the said circle.

Rs 75 Prepaid Plan by BSNL Validity Extension

This unique feature of validity extension will allow the subscribers of Rs 75 prepaid plan to extend the validity of their benefits in case they think the plan is worth the money. To do this, subscribers will have to recharge their number with an STV of minimum Rs 98. BSNL users who recharge using an STV priced between Rs 98 and Rs 199 would get a validity extension of 90 days on their plan. Whereas, people who recharge using STVs priced higher than Rs 199 will get an extension of 180 days on the Rs 75 original prepaid plan. The STVs being offered by BSNL over the price of Rs 98 include Rs 98, Rs 99, Rs 118, Rs 139, Rs 187, Rs 198, Rs 319, Rs 333, Rs 339, Rs 349, Rs 395, Rs 444, Rs 447 and Rs 551. However, it is worth noting that their validity extension won’t be credited if they buy the STV from self-care, web self-care of via USSD.

Rs 75 Prepaid Plan by Idea Cellular

Notably, Idea Cellular (now Vodafone Idea) is also offering Rs 75 prepaid plan in its portfolio. This plan by Idea Cellular ships 18000 local, STD & roaming seconds to its subscribers along with 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data and 100 SMS for the entire validity period of 28 days.
