BSNL Revises the Rs 1895 Broadband Plan With 200GB FUP and 50 Mbps Speed

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, one of India’s leading broadband players, is ramping up its fibre broadband (FTTH) plans in order to tackle competition from Reliance JioFiber, which is slated to launch in the next few weeks. The state-owned telecom has launched new lucrative offers in its Kerala circle. It has doubled the FUP data limits for its three FTTH plans for the same prices. BSNL has a massive subscriber base in Kerala, and it’s no surprise to see the telco offering better benefits for the subscribers in the state.

Here’s are BSNL latest offers:

FIBro BBG ULD 1045 CS48
BSNL’s starting fibre broadband plan named Fibro BBG ULD 1045 CS48 now comes with 100GB of FUP data at a download speed of 30 Mbps. Previously, the same plan had FUP limit pegged at 50GB for the validity period. The plan offers unlimited internet access but post FUP usage, the speed drops to 2 Mbps. This BSNL broadband plan comes with a monthly rental of Rs 1045 exclusive of taxes and service charges.

FIBro BBG ULD 1395 CS49
The next in line from BSNL is Fibro BBG ULD 1395 CS49 which offers 40 Mbps bandwidth speed and 150GB of FUP data. This plan earlier had just 75GB of FUP limit. Same as earlier, the internet is unlimited though once again the post FUP speed is reduced to 2 Mbps. The plan costs Rs 1395 monthly rental, and this is exclusive of taxes and other charges.

FIBro BBG ULD 1895 CS129
Lastly, from BSNL is the Fibro BBG ULD 1895 CS129 plan which offers whopping 50 Mbps bandwidth speed. Under this plan, BSNL is now offering 200GB of FUP data against the 100GB limit of earlier. The post FUP speed as always is reduced to 2 Mbps. The plan costs Rs 1895 per month which is exclusive of taxes and other charges.

Additionally, these BSNL Fibro plan subscribers can avail one static IP address for Rs 2000 additional charges. The plans also include voice over facility over FTTH which is available with minimum FMC commitment of Rs 195 and above. BSNL did not mention any voice calling benefit with these plans.

However, these plans are only available in Kerala circle currently. Moreover, BSNL Fibre broadband has been rolled out in the select cities only. These will be launched in other areas in a phased manner as the company is investing heavily in the wired broadband segment. The telco recently introduced BSNL FIBRO BBG ULD 995 CS287 broadband plan in select cities of Kerala.

Depends on a person’s requirements though. If you’re a compulsive downloader then 200 GB isn’t much but if you just stream some shows every evening then it’s more than enough for one person.

atleast 30 gb per day *30 days(for pc browsing and movie downloading/xbox /ps games download and play, video watching) +300gb( smartphone / tab )browsing, youtube video watching, music streaming, software updata and downloading and 500gb smart tv (hotstar/netflix/amazon prime/jio tv/youtube )=900+800=1.7tb max is best..
so minimum of 1.5 to best 3 tb plans for 2000 will be best

LOL.
Except if people only stream 4K for even an hour everyday, then the huge bandwidth is necessary.
