BSNL Mobile Phone Postpaid Plans: Which One is Best for You?

Out of all the telecom operators out there, the state-led Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is fighting tooth and nail for a position amongst the top. The telco wants to break again in the business after the data tariff war which Reliance Jio started in 2016. To do that, the telco has been introducing various offers, revisions and plans. As of late, BSNL has been launching back to back changes of its prepaid plans along with new plans to lure the users. However, it also has a wide range of postpaid plans for the subscribers too. Here are all the postpaid plans that BSNL is providing for the subscribers. Before moving ahead, it is worth noting that all these plans charge Rs 100 as a one-time activation fee from the subscribers.

Plan Rs 99 Details

This plan by BSNL offers free calls worth Rs 50 and offers free data usage of 500MB. This plan also offers free SMS benefits to the users, meaning that customers get access to 100 SMS per month. Subscribers should also keep in mind that including this plan all other BSNL postpaid plans will charge Rs 500 as security deposit in case of a local + STD connection and Rs 2000 in case of local+STD and ISD connection, hence your total one-time cost will come out to be Rs 600 or Rs 2,100 depending on your choice of plan.

Plan Rs 149 Details

The fixed monthly bill plan of Rs 149 offers 100 free local, and STD calls to the users. When it comes to data, this plans bundles 500MB of data and also offers 100 free SMS.

Plan Rs 225 Details

The Rs 225 fixed monthly bill also differs in the same manner. This plan by BSNL bundles 180 free calls for the users. In addition to that, they also get access to 3000MB free data and 100 SMS per month.

Plan Rs 325 Details

Next, in BSNL’s postpaid portfolio, we have the Rs 325 fixed monthly plan which offers 270 free calls. As for the data and other related offerings, this plan bundles 7GB of data for the entire month along with 100 SMS per day.

Plan Rs 399 – Ghar Wapsi Plan Details

This fixed monthly plan of Rs 399 stands out from the rest because of the benefits that it offers. The plan offers unlimited free local and STD voice calling to any circle. In the entire month, this plan by BSNL bundles 30GB free data along with 100 SMS.

Plan Rs 525 Details

The first plan in BSNL portfolio of Rs 500 and above offers unlimited free calling to the users in including local, STD and roaming. As for data, the plan bundles 40GB data for the entire month with 100 SMS per month.

Plan Rs 725 Details

The next plan in the BSNL postpaid roster is the Rs 725 plan which also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. The users also get access to 50GB data in a month with 100 SMS to their credit.

Plan Rs 799 Details

The Rs 799 fixed monthly postpaid plan by BSNL offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to the users over and off BSNL network to both landline and mobile customers. The subscribers also enjoy 60GB data as part of this plan and 100 free SMS per month.

Plan Rs 1,125 Details

The penultimate plan in the BSNL postpaid portfolio offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to the users over and off BSNL network to both landline and mobile customers. The data offering in this plan is 90GB along with 100 SMS per month.

Plan Rs 1,525 Details

This is the last and most expensive plan in the entire BSNL postpaid portfolio, and this one also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to the users over and off BSNL network to both landline and mobile customers. Apart from this, the Rs 1,525 postpaid plan does not keep any cap on data, meaning that subscribers can enjoy data without any speed caps. This plan also offers 100 free SMS.

Sorry, GHM…. I use BSNL postpaid since 2016.

2nd thing– all BSNL postpaid plan provide unlimited data. Speed would be reduced after certain data use as per plan.

I haven’t heard anyone using BSNL Mobile Postpaid Connection. People tend to use BSNL Mobile Prepaid Connection the most. BSNL still dosen’t have 4G License / Spectrum. In past 1 Year, i have seen BSNL has improved it’s 2G/3G Network Coverage a lot by installing New BTS Network Tower’s & provding the best services. But People don’t like to use the Old & Outdated 2G/3G Technology. God knows when is Govt going to give BSNL 4G License / Spectrum.
