BSNL is fighting hard to retain the broadband customers by introducing new plans every now and then. And now, the company is informing its customers that they will get the same pre-FUP speeds even after the completion of the FUP. All the BSNL broadband customers are eligible for this offer including the BB249 users.

BSNL is claiming the same on their website and has even sent an SMS for all the broadband customers. BSNL sent an SMS as "Dear Sir/Madam; You're very important to us. We want you to continue browsing at Higher Speeds. However, as a unique customer, BSNL is retaining your Pre-FUP speed free of cost for this month. Kind regards, BSNL Broadband."

That said, BSNL is introducing this offer as a promotional one, which means that it will be valid for three months, starting July 2017. And the new scheme is called as 'Happy Browsing Offer.'

As said earlier, BSNL is looking to retain its customers and at the same time seeking to add new customers with luring offers. Recently, BSNL had extended its affordable Experience Unlimited BB249 plan for another three months till September 30, 2017.

Furthermore, BSNL also increased the post-FUP download speed to 4 Mbps for all the plans that cost Rs. 675 and above. The BB249 plan gives 2 Mbps download speed till 2GB and 1 Mbps after the completion of FUP. However, for the next three months, it will offer the same 2 Mbps speed.

Besides the broadband segment, BSNL is also aggressive in the mobile broadband segment. The state-run operator recently introduced a new BSNL Sixer plan of Rs. 666, which gives 2GB data per day and unlimited voice calls (without any cap) for 60 days. The BSNL Sixer offer is for prepaid users. And for postpaid customers, BSNL is now giving six times more data than previous.

BSNL postpaid plans start at Rs. 99, which now offers 250MB data, while the plan-225 offers 2GB of data, up from 250MB in the previous month. All the plans have received significant data boost when compared to older postpaid plans.
