The state-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a “Freedom Plan” for prepaid mobile users. Available pan-India on a promotional basis, this plan costs Rs. 136 and offers the customers the benefit of making calls (both local and STD) to any network in Home LSA or during roaming at 25 paise per minute. The subscribers can also avail 1GB data for the first 30 days. The total validity of the pack is 730 days (2 years).
After a month, the calls will be charged at 1.3 paise/sec. The messages will be charged at Re. 1 per message in home circle and 25p per local and 38p per STD message in the national roaming.
There are also special combo vouchers applicable exclusively for this plan. The first voucher is that of Rs. 577 and offers a full talk time and 1GB data with 30 days validity. The second voucher is that of Rs. 377 offering the subscribers 300MB free data and full talk time. It comes with 20 days validity. The third voucher is that of Rs. 178 that will provide the benefit of 200MB free data along with full talk time for 10 days.
“Freedom Plan is optimized for both new and old prepaid mobile customers. The plan is all in one and it provides the voice, video, SMS, and data facilities for all segment of society and empowers family and friends to be in touch with the validity of 730 days,” said Shri.
