State owned BSNL has launched new FTTH plans for its subscribers in Bhatinda service area in Punjab circle. The new plans are being launched on a promotional basis starting tomorrow 16th October for a period of 90 days, after which depending on the subscriber response BSNL may regularise the plans.
There are 4 new plans, the first one with a denomination of Rs.945 gives 10Mbps upto 30GB and 1Mbps unlimited thereafter, the second plan with denomination of Rs.1091 gives 10Mbps upto 50GB and 1Mbps unlimited thereafter, the third plan of denomination Rs.1441 gives 10Mbps up to 100GB and 1Mbps unlimited thereafter and the fourth plan with denomination of Rs.1891 gives 24Mbps up to 50GB and 1Mbps unlimited thereafter.

BSNL is offering an annual payment option for the above plans where the subscriber pays for 11 months and the 12th month is free. BSNL is also giving one free email id with 1GB storage space per connection. The refundable security deposit is equivalent to one month plan rental. BSNL provides static ip address on a paid basis upon request for the two higher denomination plans. The plans deliver value for money for home broadband users.
