What Is BSNL IPTV Service?

Basically, IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) offers television content over IP networks. It is a replacement for the conventional cable TV service. The IPTV functions with existing FTTH connections used by customers and offers the ability to stream media continuously.

Basically, IPTV services will be categorized into two - live media or live television and video-on-demand involving viewing and browsing items of a catalogue. The BSNL IPTV services provide 160 channels that are free-to-air (FTA) and 163 channels in the Pay per view list including HD channels. Customers can choose the package that they want as per their requirements.

The BSNL IPT services do not need a separate Set-Top-Box as the existing Android TV or Android TV box is enough. The IPTV app can be installed either in Android TV or Android TV Box similar to any OTT app. If users do not have an Android TV, then they can opt for Android TV Box.
