  • This STV offers validity of 90 days to the subscribers
  • BSNL has also launched Abhinandan-151 PV which comes with 180 days validity

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-owned telecom operator has been attempting to increase its stronghold in the Indian telecom industry with small steps. The telecom operator seems to be doing this by the introduction of attractive new offers, prepaid vouchers and special tariff vouchers (STVs). In the last few months, BSNL has introduced some of its most popular prepaid vouchers for the public which offer unlimited data, bundled SMS, unlimited calling and more. In fact, after a long time and following on the footsteps of the private telcos, BSNL has also started offering content subscription like Eros Now with its plans as well. However, the new plan which BSNL has launched is a little different, and it offers international roaming activation for Rs 168. Here are all the other details about the new STV 168.

STV 168 With International Roaming Activation/Extension

BSNL has launched a new STV 168 for its subscribers which is different from all the other STVs or prepaid vouchers from the telco. The STV 168 is for subscribers who would want an extension or activation of international roaming services on their BSNL number. It is worth noting that this STV with international roaming benefits comes for a limited time only and is a promotional offer. BSNL has noted that the offer for STV 168 will be valid only till September 9, 2019. Also, the STV 168 offers international roaming activation or extension for 90 days. Another thing to note about the new STV 168 is that it has currently been launched in Kerala circle only.

BSNL Launches Abhinandan-151 Prepaid Voucher

BSNL has recently debuted another prepaid voucher as well. This prepaid voucher by BSNL is being called the Abhinandan-151. The Abhinandan-151 prepaid voucher, as the name suggests, is available for Rs 151 and it comes with a validity of 180 days. Similar to the STV 168, this prepaid voucher also comes as a promotional one and will be available in the market for a promotional period of 90 days starting June 12.

This plan bundles 1GB data per day for the subscribers along with free unlimited calling even to Delhi and Mumbai circles. Along with this, subscribers of the plan also get to enjoy 100 SMS per day. The freebies mentioned above for the Abhinandan – 151 plan come with 24 days validity, but the validity of the plan itself is 180 days.

In addition to this, BSNL is also offering additional data on its select plans as part of its Bumper offer. The validity of this offer is till June 30. Till the end of this month, BSNL subscribers will enjoy 2.21GB additional data on top of their existing prepaid plan or STV. Some of the plans valid for this offer include Rs 485, Rs 666, Rs 429, Rs 1,699 and more.

Useless plan. AVo and Jio have pre activated international roaming facility for life. Down time for BSNL has started.

I wanted BSNL to improve in all over india. I have noted that BSNL doesnt perform well in the metro cities (I agree even Jio and airtel doesnt). But i have seen BSNL performing good in towns and villages. Even in the remote places we can believe in BSNL. It has such a established infrastructure. But these government is not taking necessary steps in keeping BSNL on par with the market.

Seriously BSNL should survive in this telecom companies war. lets wait and see.

I doubt it will survive. It’s just using taxpayers hard earned money over the years. Even after having good infrastructure,it has failed to grab revenue from customers.
