Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-led telecom operator has been making a lot of consumer-centric moves lately to take on the competition from the private telecom operators. The telco has introduced a lot of new plans for its prepaid subscribers in addition to some of the STVs. BSNL has been continuing its streak of introductions of new plans and the telco does not seem to be stopping any time soon as it tries to fill in the pit of losses. However, there is one area where BSNL was lagging. While all the telcos were offering bundled premium subscriptions along with their fibre broadband plans like Netflix, ZEE5, or Amazon Prime, BSNL was nowhere near in this league. However, now BSNL has introduced a fibre broadband plan which avails a Hotstar subscription to its subscribers.
