Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started home delivery of SIM cards in multiple parts of the country. The company outsources the delivery to other entities. The deliveries started in select regions of Gurugram and Ghaziabad by partnering with Prune earlier this year. Now, the state-run telecom operator is delivering SIM cards in Kerala. You can book a new BSNL SIM through the Lilo app in Kerala. The LILO app is available for both iPhones and Android devices.




Through the app, you can get a new SIM or port your number. If you want a new SIM of BSNL, you can go ahead with that. Then choose a plan that you want with the SIM and complete the purchase. If you have a 3G SIM, on upgrading to a 4G SIM, BSNL is also offering 4GB of data for free. To order a BSNL SIM via WhatsApp, users can also send a "Hi" to +91 8891767525.

BSNL said that it has wide city and rural coverage of mobile networks in Kerala. It is worth noting that much recently, BSNL achieved a milestone of 1000 4G towers in Kerala. It has 2200 retailer outlets in Kerala along with 39 CSCs (customer service centers). The plans of BSNL are more ecomonical than what you get from the private telecom operators.
