BSNL hikes fixed monthly charge for select broadband plans

BSNL the largest PSU operator has hiked the fixed monthly charges (FMC) of select broadband plans in select service areas of UP East circle.

The areas for which the tariff hike applies are as follows, Lakhimpur  Kheri, Azamgarh, Basti, Deoria, Faizabad, Farrukhabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Mirzapur, Sultanpur, Behraich, Fatehpur, Barabanki, Ballia, Banda, Gonda, Ghazipur, Hardoi, Hamirpur, Jaunpur, Mau, Orai, Pratapgarh, Raibareli, Shahjanpur, Sitapur and Unnao service areas of UP (East) circle.

The details of the tariff changes are as given in the table below.

The change in tariff  will be applicable from 1st October 2015 in the above mentioned areas.  For the new BB customers, the charges under annual (11*FMC), two years (21*FMC) and three years (30*FMC) payment options may also be revised as per revised FMC. However, existing customers, who are already under Annual/Two year/three year payment option before revision in tariff, they may not be charged the revised tariff till the expiry of their current Annual/Two year/three year subscription.
