Why BSNL EVDO is Not Popular like Other EVDO Services

From our readers’ response we find that many are using BSNL EVDO as the cheapest wireless broadband with true unlimited plans.

But even if it is cheapest wireless broadband service, many people are not using BSNL EVDO, rather opt for 3G or EVDO services from private operators.

EVDO Rev A, as mostly deployed in India by Reliance, Tata, MTS and BSNL is a CDMA technology and capable of offering upto 3.1 Mbps downlink and upto 1.8Mbps uplink.

We are conducting a poll to get to know the reasons behind people’s negative reaction to BSNL EVDO.

Have been using BSNL EVDO since 2010, got HSIA upto 300kbs , but off late its only CDMA1x speed just 10kbps, signal strength is 5 bars, complained but no resolve

I am Ankit goenka from Raniganj dist -Burdwan .I buy an EVDO connection of BSNL but it not getting the speed which i was provided by th BSNL office of Raniganj . the speed id too low it never goes beyond 256Kbps and mostly stay on 10-110 Kbps . so i recommend every one not buy EVDO connection of BSNL.
