Just a week ago, the Moto G5 Plus was launched in India starting at a price tag of Rs. 14,999, whereas the Moto G5 is yet to reach Indian shores. At the time of its launch, Motorola unveiled the phones in only two colours- Fine Gold and Lunar Grey. However, rumours suggest that Motorola will launch a new Blue Sapphire colour variant of the Moto G5 in coming weeks.

Reliable tipster, Roland Quandt leaked the images of the Blue Sapphire colour variant, and it looks gorgeous in the new colour. These days, users are more attracted towards the colour options of the phones, and that might be the reason Motorola is planning to launch the phone in a new colour.

Going by the leaked images, the phone will have the Blue Sapphire colour on the back and sides of the phone, but the frontal part of the phone will remain black. However, there are no details on Blue Sapphire Moto G5 Plus, though.

In addition, this new colour variant of the phone will be limited to selected markets such as the UK, where a carrier already confirmed the phone to launch in new colour option in coming weeks.

The Moto G5, to recall, comes with a 5-inch Full HD display. Under-the-hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The phone supports up to 128GB storage expansion via microSD card. The rear camera in the phone is of 13MP, whereas the front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor. The phone boots Android Nougat and has a 2800mAh battery.

Motorola is yet to launch the Moto G5 in India, and we would like to see the phone in Blue Sapphire colour variant when it launches.
