Blackberry’s sales are down, but they will survie considering the number of software patents they have under their belly. Recently they bought Watch Dox – (Enterprise file sync and share company), working with Samung & Apple to develop secure email software. They will break even soon. BES 12 will a boon for them.

Among the four OS prevalent on the phones at present, I must say that user interface of blackberry is the best of all. Those who have used “Blackberry hub” for even a day will agree to my point. However lack of popular apps is the Achilles hill of the ecosystem. Let’s see to what extent now the amazon store could make any difference to app experience.

+1. It is so easy to use BlackBerry OS 10. The BlackBerry Hub feature makes it even better than iOS in terms of the ease with which you can check on your text messages, emails, bbm, whatsapp messages etc. Wish the BB app world improves, although the BlackBerry Map has undergone changes in leaps and bounds, however, the turn by turn navigation is of no use unless it locks in-to a known destination unlike google maps where a pinned location is all that is required to start navigation.
