Bharti Airtel is on a revision spree at the moment. The former leader of the Indian telecom market has removed the less recharged plans from its portfolio to concentrate on the most recharged plans. Airtel used to offer 1.4GB daily data plans of Rs 199, Rs 209, Rs 448 and Rs 509. However, the telco has already revised the Rs 199 prepaid plan which is currently offering 1.5GB data per day for 28 days. After the Rs 199 prepaid plan, Airtel has now made the Rs 169 plan an open market one, alongside revising the Rs 399 and Rs 448 prepaid recharge. The Rs 448 prepaid plan, in particular, has been revised to offer better data benefit than earlier. Airtel used to offer a total of 114.8GB data earlier, but now, the same plan comes with 123GB of data, which is an increase by 8.2GB. In-line with the Rs 199 plan, the Rs 448 plan also ships with 1.5GB daily data, up from the earlier 1.4GB data per day benefit. The Rs 399 plan now comes with lower data benefit than earlier.

Airtel Rs 169 Plan Offers 1GB Data, Unlimited Calling for 28 Days

For the unaware, Airtel's Rs 169 prepaid plan offers 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Earlier, the plan offered the same benefits for some users and 28GB (1GB data per day) for some users. But now, every Airtel prepaid user will get the benefits mentioned above. Also, some users are still noticing the benefits of 1GB daily data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day for 28 days. If you're a heavy voice calling person, then the Rs 169 plan fits your bill.

Airtel Rs 399 and Rs 448 Prepaid Plans Revised: What Do They Offer Now?

As noted, Airtel also revised the Rs 399 and Rs 448 prepaid plans across the country. Earlier, the Rs 399 plan used to offer benefits for 70 days and 84 days (depends on the user) respectively, but the open market plan shipped with 70 days benefit. However, Airtel revised the plan to offer benefits for 84 days. Yes, the Rs 399 plan is now valid for 84 days, and it provides 1GB data per day, unlike the earlier 1.4GB daily data. Airtel's Rs 399 now comes with 1GB daily data, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calling for 84 days. Some users are still noticing the plan with 1.4GB daily data benefit, but the open market plan offers 1GB data per day.

Moving onto the Rs 448 prepaid recharge, it now ships with 1.5GB daily data which is up from the earlier 1.4GB daily data. Airtel is in the process of revising its 1.4GB daily data plans to 1.5GB daily data as this new revision comes after the Rs 199 prepaid recharge. The telco is now left with Rs 509 prepaid recharge which is still providing 1.4GB data per day. The Rs 448 plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 82 days.

Do make a note that voice calling benefit on Airtel network is unlimited as the telco has no restrictions of 250 minutes per day like Vodafone Idea.

Notably, Vodafone and Idea Cellular already introduced separate 1.5GB daily data prepaid plans of denominations- Rs 229, Rs 479 and Rs 529. So Airtel gains an upper hand compared to Vodafone Idea as the telco is charging a bit more than the former.

Vodafone Also Revised Rs 399 Prepaid Plan

In other news, Vodafone also revised its Rs 399 prepaid recharge and decreased the data benefit to 1GB per day. Vodafone is now providing 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calling with a cap and 100 SMS per day with its Rs 399 prepaid plan for 84 days, same as Airtel.
