Bharti Airtel Announces 4G Mobile Network Upgradation in Tamil Nadu to Enhance the User Experience

Bharti Airtel, today stated that it has upgraded its mobile network in Tamil Nadu to enhance the experience to its 23 million users in the circle. With this new upgradation, Airtel says it has enabled superior voice experience for 4G smartphones in Tamil Nadu. Furthermore, the company has further optimised its 3G network, which carries the bulk of the voice traffic for smartphone users, by deploying state of the art network solutions and advanced network software. Over the next six to eight weeks 4G smartphone users on the Airtel network will experience improved voice clarity, call stability and coverage.

Bharti Airtel Increases 4G Coverage in Tamil Nadu

Airtel has also increased its 4G coverage across Tamil Nadu to enable a seamless data experience to the users, which will result in improved 4G availability- both indoors and outdoors. Airtel also ensures that 4G smartphone users are always getting the best of data speeds. "Airtel 4G has been consistently rated as the fastest network in India by multiple global agencies," stated the company in a press statement.

Airtel VoLTE is Present in Tamil Nadu as Well

With improved 4G availability, customers can also opt for Airtel VoLTE which offers HD voice quality and faster call set up. Recently, Airtel said that its list of VoLTE supported devices crossed 200. The best part with Airtel VoLTE is it offers uninterrupted connectivity with fallback on 3G/2G in case of non-availability of 4G.

Bharti Airtel has 23 Million Customers Across Tamil Nadu

As mentioned above, Airtel is trusted by over 23 million customers across Tamilnadu. As part of Airtel’s network transformation program – Project Leap, the company plans to roll out 12000 sites and 3000 kms of optic fibre across the state.
