Bharti Airtel has launched a new Rs 249 prepaid plan. All telecom operators in the country right now are releasing plans featuring unlimited calling and unlimited data. With so many plans present in the market which are very closely priced it becomes hard for the consumer to make the right decision. Presently Vodafone had also released a plan which is priced at Rs 255, and there is a similar existent plan by Reliance Jio, priced at Rs 198. We make a detailed analysis of all plans from the telcos down here to tell you which plan fits right into your budget.

Airtel Prepaid Rs 249 Plan
This plan by Airtel comes with a validity of 28 days and provides 2GB 4G data per day to the users. Along with the data, the plan also offers unlimited Local and STD calling which is also accompanied with 100 SMS per day.

Vodafone Prepaid Rs 255 Plan
As per Vodafone’s website, this plan offers 2GB 3G/4G data to the users much like the Airtel plan. There is also the facility of unlimited local and STD calling for the validity period of 28 days. This plan by Vodafone, however, does not offer any free SMS plan.

Reliance Jio Rs 198 Plan
Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan offers 2GB of data per day to the users which previously used to be capped at 1.5GB. Post the usage of 2GB the speed gets limited to 64 Kbps. The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calling like the other plans. 100 SMS per day have also been bundled with the offering which has a validity period of 28 days. The total monthly data in this plan is 56GB.

Idea Cellular Rs 249 Plan
Right after Airtel introducing the Rs 249 plan, Idea Cellular also arrived with a Rs 249 prepaid plan. With the Rs 249 plan, Idea is also providing 2GB of 4G/3G data per day along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

All the plans offer equal benefits, but Jio's plan is slightly priced on the lower side. Also, the voice calls on Airtel and Jio network are unlimited without any FUP, while on Idea and Vodafone network are priced capped at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
