Asus is leaving teasers on its website about an event planned for 28th of October in Japan, though we are still not sure about what Asus has in store for us on the aforementioned date. The Taiwanese multinational company has been preparing since a while and it will be exciting to see what it unveils.
Asus had announced its elegant Android wearable, ZenWatch at IFA 2014. But now, it has released plenty of teaser photos, indicating towards a new ZenFone and ZenWatch. It might turn out to be a local launch but we are hopeful to witness a brand new device, especially the ZenFone.
The ZenWatch comes with a 1.63-inch AMOLED display with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution (278 ppi). The wearable is powered by Snapdragon 400 chipset coupled with 1.2GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM. We are hopeful that the upcoming ZenWatch will be an improved version specs wise. Asus might have improved it a bit as Google has added compatibility with GPS chips in the newer version of Android Wear.
As for the ZenFone, we might expect, a new smartphone just like the Zenfone 4, the Zenfone 5, or the Zenfone 6. Though the rumours have indicated that the company might unveil the 5.5-inch ZenFone device, it has been working on, which is slated to debut at CES 2015. A week more to predict what’s going to happen, before Asus unravels it for us. Could Asus come up with a 64-bit Intel chip equipped ZenFone?
