Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Gets a Permanent Price Cut in India, Now Starts at Rs 9,999

After Xiaomi reduced the prices of most of its products in India, Asus has announced a permanent price cut for the Zenfone Max Pro M1. All the variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 have received the price cut. After the price drop, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is now available for a starting price of Rs 9,999 in India. Asus recently launched the Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India for starting price of Rs 12,999. This price is for the 3GB RAM model. Notably, after the price cut, the Max Pro M1 is clashing with the Zenfone Max M2 which also starts at Rs 9,999. The Max Pro M1 is way better than the Max M2 in various aspects.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Gets Rs 1,000 Permanent Price Cut

With the reduction of Zenfone Max Pro M1 India price, Asus is giving a tough challenge to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 6 Pro. All the three phones are powered by Snapdragon 636 chipset. Asus on Wednesday announced that all variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 would receive Rs 1000 price cut. After the price cut, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant will be available for Rs 9,999, 4GB RAM /64GB storage model for Rs 11,999, and lastly the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant at Rs 13,999.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2: Specifications and Pricing

Asus recently launched the successor to Zenfone Max Pro M1 aka Zenfone Max Pro M2 for a starting price of Rs 12,999. This price is for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage model. The storage space which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. There's a second model of the phone that comes with 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and is priced at Rs 14,999. Lastly, the top end model of the Zenfone Max Pro M2 that packs 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage retails for Rs 16,999.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. On the hardware front, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Asus phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and includes two cameras on the back while on the front. As far as the camera setup is concerned, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a primary sensor of the 2MP and secondary sensor of 5MP on the back. On the front, the phone includes a 13MP sensor for clicking selfies.
