Asus Zenfone Max M2 Now Has a Starting Price of Rs 7,999 After a Price Cut

Asus has released some very noteworthy phones in the mid-range price segment. The Taiwanese manufacturer first launched the Asus Zenfone Max M1 and then went on to launch the Asus Zenfone Max M2 to top off the success of the previous smartphone. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 went well with the Indian buyers and was loved in the market. Now it has been quite a few months since the launch of the phone and Asus has decided to write off the prices of this device by a few notches to make it more affordable for the masses. It is also likely that Asus might be on the tasking of working on a new mid-range phone for the buyers. The Taiwanese manufacturer in its release has noted the new prices of the Asus Zenfone Max M2 and has announced that these prices will be applicable starting July 22, 2019, on Flipkart.

Asus Zenfone Max M2 New Pricing

It is worth noting that the Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes in two variants. The first variant of the phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The old price of this variant of Asus Zenfone Max M2 was Rs 8,499 and the new price of the phone has been set at Rs 7,999 meaning a Rs 500 drop in pricing. The second variant of the Asus Zenfone Max M2 is the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, the old price of which was Rs 10,499 and now it is retailing for Rs 9,499 thus signalling a price drop of Rs 1,000.

Asus Zenfone Max M2 Specifications and Features

ZenFone Max M2 is the latest 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 632 Mobile Platform with up to 4GB of RAM. Its high-capacity 4000mAh lithium-polymer battery custom-crafted to pack maximum performance into an even slimmer body, and which delivers up to 33 days of 4G standby, up to 21 hours of video playback, up to 22 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing, 8 hours of gaming and up to 35 hours of 3G talk time.

In addition, the dual-camera system in ZenFone Max M2 has a 13MP f/1.8 wide-aperture main camera that captures clear and detailed shots in any situation. It can shoot 4K videos along with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) (1080p) also helps to get rid of camera shake for blur-free handheld videos. Also, ZenFone Max M2 on the front has an f2.0 8MP camera along with a LED Flash that lets you shoot amazing selfies even in low-light scenes. It can shoot videos up to 1080p, and will soon have EIS functionality that will allow you to shoot shake-free selfie-videos and Portrait mode functionality that will allow you to shoot artistic bokeh selfies.
