After being silent for more than two months, Taiwanese smartphone company Asus has launched the Asus Zenfone Live smartphone in India for Rs. 9,999. The smartphone comes in three colour options- Gold, Rose Pink, and Navy Black and will be available to purchase on Flipkart.

As the name itself suggests, the Zenfone Live’s USP is the real-time beautification feature. This feature necessarily means that the beautify mode will be added in real-time while you’re making live videos in apps such as Facebook, Periscope, and YouTube. However, the device has a smaller 5MP selfie camera.
The Zenfone Live feature entry-level specifications on board. It has a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. Asus might by the only brand in 2017 using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC as most of its smartphones released in 2017 pack the same chip and the Zenfone Live is a new addition to the list. It is fuelled by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes in two storage options- 16GB and 32GB. Both the variants feature 2GB of RAM. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. Asus also partnered with Google and offering 100GB of Google Drive space free for two years with the Zenfone Live.

Aside from the 5MP front-facing camera, the Zenfone Live has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The device boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Zen UI 3.0 and has connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-SIM, and USB OTG via the micro USB port. It also has GPS, AGPS, and GLONASS.
